The Liturgy of the Hours or Canonical Hours, also referred to as Divine Office, is the official set of prayers marking the hours of each day and sanctifying the day with prayer. Our monastics and Oblates are held to pray at least the morning and evening Hours, i.e. Lauds and Vespers. Though it is at their discretion which Breviary to use, this edition is highly recommended due to its practicality as well as Eastern expression.
